All this is supposed to happen.
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” -Jesus (the Christ)
In other words. In the days of Noah, the world was pretty depraved and full of apathy. Further, they were DISTRACTED! PEople carried on as they do now, blinded by the pleasures of life. Side note: I enjoy many of those pleasures now (i.e. being a father, husband, going out for scenic adventures with my family, shopping, trying new restaurants…etc.), but to be blinded by the world is to be ignorant of the enemy’s devices. When destruction came upon the world back then, the world was sleeping with its eyes open. Only one family had their eyes open while being awake (Noah’s). Lilewise today, few people see that the world is becoming more anti-Christ everyday! How crazy is it that Jesus (having had the spirit of God in Him) during His life on earth, predicted there would be many Anti-Christs…and so there ARE! Those anti-Christs are like racist folk who will say “Yeah I’ve got black friends,” yet none of them are invited to the BBQ!
These anti-Christs are the same people who would get someone fired for praying at work and then turn around and say “God is love,” “Jesus was a good man,” “What would Jesus do?,” or even use His name as a cuss word and still say they believe in Him. Meanwhile Christ followers are getting arrested for praying IN THEIR MINDS?
…Enjoy your Facebook highlights! Don’t get me wrong. Ain’t nothing wrong with enjoying your life, but if you’re sleeping, a rude awakening is in store for you. This world is NOT getting better. People who shine will have to keep shining, despite the increasing animosity and the unfolding of the prophecy that good would be called evil and evil good in this age. Those who are trying to live righteously will have to keep trying. As for those who celebrate daily? I’m scared for them…because while the ship slowly veers off course, headed towards an iceberg, they dance the night away, or sleep, for now, all is well…until it’s not!
Stay positive, hopeful, resilient, and faithful, all who are in the LORD. Strength is not in numbers. I’m not canceling anyone but if I’m canceled for speaking the truth, so be it. Never do it for the likes anyway. These posts don’t get likes, they get eye rolls, but if some wake up and turn their lives to God who made them anyway, heaven will rejoice for them because another priceless soul will have found true freedom and the hope of everlasting life instead of death.
